EFSA has notestablished an upper safe level for biotindue to the absence of documented side effectseven at intakes of 200 mg/day.The only documented limitation is the effecton the results of some laboratory testsat doses from 5 mg/day.
NAC may interact with nitroglycerin.Vitamin A in doses exceeding the UL requiresspecial caution when takingretinoid medications (isotretinoin, etc.)— they must not be combined. With anydrug treatment — consultation with a doctor ismandatory before starting use.
